Since then many different countries have obtained these weapons. In 1968 the US do the nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT), which was do to stop nuclear weapons from being made in opposite countries. Most countries sign this treaty, but India, Israel, and Pakistan have not sign this treaty. Iraq created clandestine nuclear program under Saddam ibn Talal ibn Talal Hussein before the 1991 Persian Gulf War. North Korea announced its insularity from the NPT in January 2003 and has tested nuclear devices since then. Iran and Libya have been doing some ar fecesum nuclear activities in violation of the treatys terms, and Syria is as well. Still, NPT successes outnumber failures, and has been shown to work for the most part. Although the United States was the only country to deploy a nuclear warhead, Rus sia has the most out of wholly the countries. Russia having 1300 warheads, and the US having 9400 warheads, these countries outnumber other countries by a landslide though. The reason I chose this idea is because I find nuclear war to be a very interesting a controversial subject.

I like to see what is dislodgeing in the world, specially about North Korea trying to obtain to a greater extent and more nuclear weapons. It is an interesting subject that I sense more students should be interested in, because nuclear warfare could happen any minute and destroy the whole planet. Nuclear warfare was and still is a humongous part of the United States. I also chose this because I am a jej une male, and I like to see things explode; ! and nuclear explosions can take very large and awesome.
